In the last Sleeper Ave. story I wrote about my discovery in third grade that I had a small talent for drawing. That revelation led me, eventually, to what became my life’s work.
I’ve always been fascinated by what people do for a living, and by how they made the decision to do what they do. For some, it was just something they fell into. Many of us don’t think we have any special ability that translates into a career. Others have a calling. I was one of the lucky ones who had the good fortune to make my passion my work.
Why do you do what you do? How did you decide? What skills did you need? How did you acquire them?
I want to hear your stories.
